Today is International Day of Charity. It’s not about the charity sector per se but rather about the themes of volunteering and philanthropy. The 5th of September was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who devoted her life to helping others.
The wonderful world of executive and leadership coaching is also about helping others. Helping others to grow into the leaders they want to be, building their confidence, autonomy, and many other new skills along the way. Coaching as a form of personal development support often comes with a hefty price tag and is therefore left inaccessible for many who would really benefit from this valuable experience.
