User Agreement - Coachee

User Agreement: Coachee

Introduction

The Growing Coaches Ltd

You are entering into this User Agreement with The Growing Coaches Ltd (also referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”).

Reference to ‘User(s)’, ‘you’ and ‘your’ mean the coachee who is entering into this User Agreement.

Reference to the ‘platform’ means The Growing Coaches web platform.

This User Agreement combined with the Agreed General Terms and Conditions, together form the basis of our relationship.

User Responsibilities

1.1 Users are responsible for their own security in conjunction with our services, both online and offline.

1.2 Users are solely responsible for the material they post on the Website, including messages sent, and they must not post defamatory, offensive or illegal material.

1.3 Users are responsible for their own internet security when using the Website.

1.4 Users must contact us immediately if they believe their password has been compromised. Users will be responsible for the actions of any interactions conducted in their name until they have notified us that they believe their password has been compromised and we have acknowledged receipt of this.

1.5 Users must not use the Website with the intention of disintermediating The Growing Coaches in any way. Users must not promote opportunities or services of any company other than The Growing Coaches on the Website.

Coachee Responsibilities

2.1 Coachees are not employees of The Growing Coaches and are solely responsible for their own actions both on and off the Website.

2.2 Coachees are responsible for ensuring that the personal information they provide and their personal statements on the platform are accurate and in no way misleading. They must update this information promptly to maintain its accuracy.

2.3 Coachees are provided with a unique access code to enable registration on The Growing Coaches platform. This code should be used within 28 days of issuance. Failure to use the code within this timeframe may render the code invalid. If this happens you (or your organization if they are the main customer) should contact info@thegrowingcoaches.com to obtain a new code.

2.4 By registering and creating a profile, coachees are able to experience a coaching engagement consisting of 6 x 90 minute coaching sessions at intervals agreed between the coach and coachee.

2.5 Coaches will be presented as potential ‘matches’ for coachees based on criteria contained within their profiles. You can view your coach matches after pressing the ‘find me a coach’ button. You can then view each coaches details and choose which coach you’d like to connect with by sending them a connection request.

2.6 Coachees can also be presented to coaches as potential ‘matches’ if the coach presses ‘find me a coachee’. In this instance you may receive a connection request from a coach. You can choose to accept this request or decline and select your own coach as per 2.6 above.

2.7 If/when you send a connection request to a coach, they will either accept or decline your request. If they accept the request both yours and the coachees contact details will be made visible to both you and the coachee.

2.8 If you receive a connection request from a coach you have 7 days to respond. If you don’t respond the request will automatically be declined and your profile will be set to unavailable so you will not be presented as a potential match for any other coaches. If this happens and you wish to remain visible to potential coaches or send a connection request to a coach, you should log in to the platform and change your status to ‘available’.

2.9 Once you accept a connection request from a coach you should arrange an initial call or video call to get to know each other, discuss your requirements and make sure you both feel that you are a good ‘fit’ to work together. At this point it is the coachee’s responsibility to share their sponsors details (where one exists) with the coach. If you both feel that you are a good fit to work together then you will book your first coaching session. If you don’t feel that you are a good fit to work together then you can go back to the platform and connect with an alternative coach.

2.10 Where a sponsor does exist, you should communicate with them directly to gain their input into the coaching contract and to agree with them how you and the coach will communicate progress. It is standard practice for the coach, coachee and sponsor to check-in after the third and again after the final session. As your conversations with the coach are covered by confidentiality, it is your responsibility to share feedback with the sponsor and for the coach to observe and adopt any relevant feedback into the remainder of the coaching sessions.

2.11 Prior to commencing your first coaching session, your coach should complete The Growing Coaches ‘Coaching – Our Guide to Working Together’ agreement, with copies to be signed by the coach, coachee and sponsor (where one exists).

2.12 Coaches should make bookings for sessions within The Growing Coaches platform. This sends an automated confirmation email to the coachee.

2.13 Very occasionally and for whatever reason coachees may feel that the desired level of progress is not being made. In these circumstances if you have had up to 2 coaching sessions but feel like it just isn’t working for you, we can agree to terminate the connection (provided that your Sponsor (where one exists) consents to the termination). You will then be free to connect with an alternative coach and commence a new series of 6 sessions at no additional cost. Equally, the coach will have the right to terminate provided that they notify you, The Growing Coaches Ltd and the Sponsor (where one exists) at least 4 weeks prior to the next scheduled coaching session. It is worth bearing in mind that change often occurs after a few sessions and therefore perseverance is often the best route unless the relationship is broken.

2.14 Coachees agree not to solicit Coaches or disintermediate The Growing Coaches, or attempt to solicit Coaches or disintermediate The Growing Coaches, in any way, from the first point of contact with any Coach, during any period of confirmed bookings with any Coach or at any time within 12 months of the date of the most recent booking with the relevant Coach (the "Restriction Period").

2.15 Coaches should complete a maximum of 6 x 90 minute session with any one coachee. If further sessions are deemed appropriate, the coach and/or the coachee/ the coachee’s organization should contact The Growing Coaches directly to discuss options.

2.16 Any Coachee who, in the opinion of The Growing Coaches (which need not be reasonable), fails to comply with these terms and conditions may be immediately barred from using the Website and related services.
